CVSS v3.1 |
While parsing an IPAddressFamily extension in an X.509 certificate, it is possible to do a one-byte overread. This would result in an incorrect text display of the certificate. This bug has been present since 2006 and is present in all versions of OpenSSL before 1.0.2m and 1.1.0g.
VMware ESXi 6.5 without patch ESXi650-201703410-SG and 5.5 without patch ESXi550-201703401-SG; Workstation Pro / Player 12.x prior to 12.5.5; and Fusion Pro / Fusion 8.x prior to 8.5.6 have a Heap Buffer Overflow in SVGA. This issue may allow a guest to execute code on the host.
VMware ESXi 6.5 without patch ESXi650-201703410-SG, 6.0 U3 without patch ESXi600-201703401-SG, 6.0 U2 without patch ESXi600-201703403-SG, 6.0 U1 without patch ESXi600-201703402-SG, and 5.5 without patch ESXi550-201703401-SG; Workstation Pro / Player 12.x prior to 12.5.5; and Fusion Pro / Fusion 8.x prior to 8.5.6 have an uninitialized stack memory usage in SVGA. This issue may allow a guest to execute code on the host.
VMware Unified Access Gateway (2.5.x, 2.7.x, 2.8.x prior to 2.8.1) and Horizon View (7.x prior to 7.1.0, 6.x prior to 6.2.4) contain a heap buffer-overflow vulnerability which may allow a remote attacker to execute code on the security gateway.
VMware Workstation (12.x prior to 12.5.3) and Horizon View Client (4.x prior to 4.4.0) contain multiple heap buffer-overflow vulnerabilities in JPEG2000 parser in the TPView.dll. On Workstation, this may allow a guest to execute code or perform a Denial of Service on the Windows OS that runs Workstation. In the case of a Horizon View Client, this may allow a View desktop to execute code or perform a Denial of Service on the Windows OS that runs the Horizon View Client. Exploitation is only possible if virtual printing has been enabled. This feature is not enabled by default on Workstation but it is enabled by default on Horizon View.
VMware Workstation (12.x prior to 12.5.3) and Horizon View Client (4.x prior to 4.4.0) contain a heap buffer-overflow vulnerability in TrueType Font (TTF) parser in the TPView.dll.
VMware Workstation (12.x before 12.5.8) and Fusion (8.x before 8.5.9) contain a heap buffer-overflow vulnerability in VMNAT device. This issue may allow a guest to execute code on the host.
VMware ESXi (6.0 before ESXi600-201711101-SG, 5.5 ESXi550-201709101-SG), Workstation (12.x before 12.5.8), and Fusion (8.x before 8.5.9) contain a vulnerability that could allow an authenticated VNC session to cause a stack overflow via a specific set of VNC packets. Successful exploitation of this issue could result in remote code execution in a virtual machine via the authenticated VNC session. Note: In order for exploitation to be possible in ESXi, VNC must be manually enabled in a virtual machine's .vmx configuration file. In addition, ESXi must be configured to allow VNC traffic through the built-in firewall.
WebRTC in Google Chrome prior to 56.0.2924.76 for Linux, Windows and Mac, and 56.0.2924.87 for Android, failed to perform proper bounds checking, which allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
A heap buffer overflow in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 56.0.2924.76 for Linux, Windows and Mac, and 56.0.2924.87 for Android, allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
Heap buffer overflow during image processing in Skia in Google Chrome prior to 56.0.2924.76 for Linux, Windows and Mac, and 56.0.2924.87 for Android, allowed a remote attacker to perform an out of bounds memory read via a crafted HTML page.
FFmpeg in Google Chrome prior to 56.0.2924.76 for Linux, Windows and Mac, failed to perform proper bounds checking, which allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted video file.
FFmpeg in Google Chrome prior to 56.0.2924.76 for Linux, Windows and Mac, failed to perform proper bounds checking, which allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted video file.
An incorrect assumption about block structure in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 57.0.2987.133 for Mac, Windows, and Linux, and 57.0.2987.132 for Android, allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit memory corruption via a crafted HTML page that triggers improper casting.
Incorrect handling of DOM changes in Blink in Google Chrome prior to 58.0.3029.81 for Windows allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
