CVSS v3.1 |
A flaw was found in the way memory resources were freed in the unix_stream_recvmsg function in the Linux kernel when a signal was pending. This flaw allows an unprivileged local user to crash the system by exhausting available memory. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to system availability.
A flaw was found in podman before 1.7.0. File permissions for non-root users running in a privileged container are not correctly checked. This flaw can be abused by a low-privileged user inside the container to access any other file in the container, even if owned by the root user inside the container. It does not allow to directly escape the container, though being a privileged container means that a lot of security features are disabled when running the container. The highest threat from this vulnerability is to data confidentiality and integrity as well as system availability.
Adobe Flash Player Desktop Runtime 32.0.0.371 and earlier, Adobe Flash Player for Google Chrome 32.0.0.371 and earlier, and Adobe Flash Player for Microsoft Edge and Internet Explorer 32.0.0.330 and earlier have an use after free vulnerability. Successful exploitation could lead to arbitrary code execution.
An issue was discovered in the Linux kernel 3.16 through 5.5.6. set_fdc in drivers/block/floppy.c leads to a wait_til_ready out-of-bounds read because the FDC index is not checked for errors before assigning it, aka CID-2e90ca68b0d2.
The proglottis Go wrapper before 0.1.1 for the GPGME library has a use-after-free, as demonstrated by use for container image pulls by Docker or CRI-O. This leads to a crash or potential code execution during GPG signature verification.
There is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel through 5.5.2 in the vgacon_invert_region function in drivers/video/console/vgacon.c.
There is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel through 5.5.2 in the n_tty_receive_buf_common function in drivers/tty/n_tty.c.
There is a use-after-free vulnerability in the Linux kernel through 5.5.2 in the vc_do_resize function in drivers/tty/vt/vt.c.
In libslirp 4.1.0, as used in QEMU 4.2.0, tcp_subr.c misuses snprintf return values, leading to a buffer overflow in later code.
In the Linux kernel 4.14 longterm through 4.14.165 and 4.19 longterm through 4.19.96 (and 5.x before 5.2), there is a use-after-free (write) in the i915_ppgtt_close function in drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915_gem_gtt.c, aka CID-7dc40713618c. This is related to i915_gem_context_destroy_ioctl in drivers/gpu/drm/i915/i915_gem_context.c.
tcp_emu in tcp_subr.c in libslirp 4.1.0, as used in QEMU 4.2.0, mismanages memory, as demonstrated by IRC DCC commands in EMU_IRC. This can cause a heap-based buffer overflow or other out-of-bounds access which can lead to a DoS or potential execute arbitrary code.
A buffer overflow could occur when parsing and validating SCTP chunks in WebRTC. This could have led to memory corruption and a potentially exploitable crash. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 68.8, Firefox < 76, and Thunderbird < 68.8.0.
Use after free in offscreen canvas in Google Chrome prior to 85.0.4183.102 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
Race in Mojo in Google Chrome prior to 85.0.4183.102 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page.
Insufficient policy enforcement in installer in Google Chrome on OS X prior to 85.0.4183.102 allowed a local attacker to potentially achieve privilege escalation via a crafted binary.
Use after free in video in Google Chrome on Android prior to 85.0.4183.102 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially perform a sandbox escape via a crafted HTML page.
Insufficient data validation in Omnibox in Google Chrome prior to 85.0.4183.83 allowed a remote attacker to perform domain spoofing via IDN homographs via a crafted domain name.
Information leakage in WebRTC in Google Chrome prior to 85.0.4183.83 allowed a remote attacker to obtain potentially sensitive information via a crafted WebRTC interaction.
Integer overflow in WebUSB in Google Chrome prior to 85.0.4183.83 allowed a remote attacker who had compromised the renderer process to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page.
Insufficient policy enforcement in intent handling in Google Chrome on Android prior to 85.0.4183.83 allowed a remote attacker to bypass navigation restrictions via a crafted HTML page.
