CVE-2025-39981 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High

CVE-2025-39978 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: octeontx2-pf: Fix potential use after free in otx2_tc_add_flow() This code calls kfree_rcu(new_node, rcu) and then dereferences "new_node" and then dereferences it on the next line. Two lines later, we take a mutex so I don't think this is an RCU safe region. Re-order it to do the dereferences before queuing up the free.
CVE-2025-39996 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: media: b2c2: Fix use-after-free causing by irq_check_work in flexcop_pci_remove The original code uses cancel_delayed_work() in flexcop_pci_remove(), which does not guarantee that the delayed work item irq_check_work has fully completed if it was already running. This leads to use-after-free scenarios where flexcop_pci_remove() may free the flexcop_device while irq_check_work is still active and attempts to dereference the device. A typical race condition is illustrated below: CPU 0 (remove) | CPU 1 (delayed work callback) flexcop_pci_remove() | flexcop_pci_irq_check_work() cancel_delayed_work() | flexcop_device_kfree(fc_pci->fc_dev) | | fc = fc_pci->fc_dev; // UAF This is confirmed by a KASAN report: ================================================================== BUG: KASAN: slab-use-after-free in __run_timer_base.part.0+0x7d7/0x8c0 Write of size 8 at addr ffff8880093aa8c8 by task bash/135 ... Replace cancel_delayed_work() with cancel_delayed_work_sync() to ensure that the delayed work item is properly canceled and any executing delayed work has finished before the device memory is deallocated. This bug was initially identified through static analysis. To reproduce and test it, I simulated the B2C2 FlexCop PCI device in QEMU and introduced artificial delays within the flexcop_pci_irq_check_work() function to increase the likelihood of triggering the bug.
CVE-2025-39972 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: i40e: fix idx validation in i40e_validate_queue_map Ensure idx is within range of active/initialized TCs when iterating over vf->ch[idx] in i40e_validate_queue_map().
CVE-2025-39998 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: scsi: target: target_core_configfs: Add length check to avoid buffer overflow A buffer overflow arises from the usage of snprintf to write into the buffer "buf" in target_lu_gp_members_show function located in /drivers/target/target_core_configfs.c. This buffer is allocated with size LU_GROUP_NAME_BUF (256 bytes). snprintf(...) formats multiple strings into buf with the HBA name (hba->hba_group.cg_item), a slash character, a devicename (dev-> dev_group.cg_item) and a newline character, the total formatted string length may exceed the buffer size of 256 bytes. Since snprintf() returns the total number of bytes that would have been written (the length of %s/%sn ), this value may exceed the buffer length (256 bytes) passed to memcpy(), this will ultimately cause function memcpy reporting a buffer overflow error. An additional check of the return value of snprintf() can avoid this buffer overflow.
CVE-2025-40168 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: smc: Use __sk_dst_get() and dst_dev_rcu() in smc_clc_prfx_match(). smc_clc_prfx_match() is called from smc_listen_work() and not under RCU nor RTNL. Using sk_dst_get(sk)->dev could trigger UAF. Let's use __sk_dst_get() and dst_dev_rcu(). Note that the returned value of smc_clc_prfx_match() is not used in the caller.
CVE-2023-54085 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: mptcp: fix NULL pointer dereference on fastopen early fallback In case of early fallback to TCP, subflow_syn_recv_sock() deletes the subflow context before returning the newly allocated sock to the caller. The fastopen path does not cope with the above unconditionally dereferencing the subflow context.
CVE-2025-68235 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nouveau/firmware: Add missing kfree() of nvkm_falcon_fw::boot nvkm_falcon_fw::boot is allocated, but no one frees it. This causes a kmemleak warning. Make sure this data is deallocated.
CVE-2025-68748 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 N/A
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: drm/panthor: Fix UAF race between device unplug and FW event processing The function panthor_fw_unplug() will free the FW memory sections. The problem is that there could still be pending FW events which are yet not handled at this point. process_fw_events_work() can in this case try to access said freed memory. Simply call disable_work_sync() to both drain and prevent future invocation of process_fw_events_work().
CVE-2025-68349 1 Linux 1 Linux Kernel 2026-04-15 7.0 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: NFSv4/pNFS: Clear NFS_INO_LAYOUTCOMMIT in pnfs_mark_layout_stateid_invalid Fixes a crash when layout is null during this call stack: write_inode -> nfs4_write_inode -> pnfs_layoutcommit_inode pnfs_set_layoutcommit relies on the lseg refcount to keep the layout around. Need to clear NFS_INO_LAYOUTCOMMIT otherwise we might attempt to reference a null layout.
