CVE-2024-36017 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 7 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 4 more 2025-12-17 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rtnetlink: Correct nested IFLA_VF_VLAN_LIST attribute validation Each attribute inside a nested IFLA_VF_VLAN_LIST is assumed to be a struct ifla_vf_vlan_info so the size of such attribute needs to be at least of sizeof(struct ifla_vf_vlan_info) which is 14 bytes. The current size validation in do_setvfinfo is against NLA_HDRLEN (4 bytes) which is less than sizeof(struct ifla_vf_vlan_info) so this validation is not enough and a too small attribute might be cast to a struct ifla_vf_vlan_info, this might result in an out of bands read access when accessing the saved (casted) entry in ivvl.

If the mptcp worker (dumbly) tries mptcp-level re-injection after such ack, that would unconditionally trigger a send buffer cleanup using 'bad' snd_una values. We could easily disable re-injection for fallback sockets, but such dumb behavior already helped catching a few subtle issues and a very low to zero impact in practice. Instead address the issue always initializing snd_nxt (and write_seq, for consistency) at connect time.
CVE-2024-36939 3 Debian, Linux, Redhat 4 Debian Linux, Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2025-12-17 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: nfs: Handle error of rpc_proc_register() in nfs_net_init(). syzkaller reported a warning [0] triggered while destroying immature netns. rpc_proc_register() was called in init_nfs_fs(), but its error has been ignored since at least the initial commit 1da177e4c3f4 ("Linux-2.6.12-rc2"). Recently, commit d47151b79e32 ("nfs: expose /proc/net/sunrpc/nfs in net namespaces") converted the procfs to per-netns and made the problem more visible. Even when rpc_proc_register() fails, nfs_net_init() could succeed, and thus nfs_net_exit() will be called while destroying the netns. Then, remove_proc_entry() will be called for non-existing proc directory and trigger the warning below. Let's handle the error of rpc_proc_register() properly in nfs_net_init(). CVE-2024-57947 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-12-06 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: netfilter: nf_set_pipapo: fix initial map fill The initial buffer has to be inited to all-ones, but it must restrict it to the size of the first field, not the total field size. After each round in the map search step, the result and the fill map are swapped, so if we have a set where f->bsize of the first element is smaller than m->bsize_max, those one-bits are leaked into future rounds result map. This makes pipapo find an incorrect matching results for sets where first field size is not the largest. Followup patch adds a test case to nft_concat_range.sh selftest script. Thanks to Stefano Brivio for pointing out that we need to zero out the remainder explicitly, only correcting memset() argument isn't enough.

CVE-2025-65105 4 Debian, Lfprojects, Redhat and 1 more 4 Linux, Apptainer, Enterprise Linux and 1 more 2025-12-05 4.5 Medium
Apptainer is an open source container platform. In Apptainer versions less than 1.4.5, a container can disable two of the forms of the little used --security option, in particular the forms --security=apparmor:<profile> and --security=selinux:<label> which otherwise put restrictions on operations that containers can do. The --security option has always been mentioned in Apptainer documentation as being a feature for the root user, although these forms do also work for unprivileged users on systems where the corresponding feature is enabled. Apparmor is enabled by default on Debian-based distributions and SElinux is enabled by default on RHEL-based distributions, but on SUSE it depends on the distribution version. This vulnerability is fixed in 1.4.5.
CVE-2014-3480 6 Debian, File Project, Opensuse and 3 more 7 Debian Linux, File, Opensuse and 4 more 2025-12-04 6.5 Medium

CVE-2022-50168 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-12-03 7.8 High
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: bpf, x86: fix freeing of not-finalized bpf_prog_pack syzbot reported a few issues with bpf_prog_pack [1], [2]. This only happens with multiple subprogs. In jit_subprogs(), we first call bpf_int_jit_compile() on each sub program. And then, we call it on each sub program again. jit_data is not freed in the first call of bpf_int_jit_compile(). Similarly we don't call bpf_jit_binary_pack_finalize() in the first call of bpf_int_jit_compile(). If bpf_int_jit_compile() failed for one sub program, we will call bpf_jit_binary_pack_finalize() for this sub program. However, we don't have a chance to call it for other sub programs. Then we will hit "goto out_free" in jit_subprogs(), and call bpf_jit_free on some subprograms that haven't got bpf_jit_binary_pack_finalize() yet. At this point, bpf_jit_binary_pack_free() is called and the whole 2MB page is freed erroneously. Fix this with a custom bpf_jit_free() for x86_64, which calls bpf_jit_binary_pack_finalize() if necessary. Also, with custom bpf_jit_free(), bpf_prog_aux->use_bpf_prog_pack is not needed any more, remove it. CVE-2022-50177 2 Linux, Redhat 2 Linux Kernel, Enterprise Linux 2025-11-28 5.5 Medium
In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: rcutorture: Fix ksoftirqd boosting timing and iteration The RCU priority boosting can fail in two situations: 1) If (nr_cpus= > maxcpus=), which means if the total number of CPUs is higher than those brought online at boot, then torture_onoff() may later bring up CPUs that weren't online on boot. Now since rcutorture initialization only boosts the ksoftirqds of the CPUs that have been set online on boot, the CPUs later set online by torture_onoff won't benefit from the boost, making RCU priority boosting fail. 2) The ksoftirqd kthreads are boosted after the creation of rcu_torture_boost() kthreads, which opens a window large enough for these rcu_torture_boost() kthreads to wait (despite running at FIFO priority) for ksoftirqds that are still running at SCHED_NORMAL priority. The issues can trigger for example with: ./kvm.sh --configs TREE01 --kconfig "CONFIG_RCU_BOOST=y" [ 34.968561] rcu-torture: !!! CVE-2019-11693 3 Linux, Mozilla, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Firefox, Thunderbird and 1 more 2025-11-25 N/A
The bufferdata function in WebGL is vulnerable to a buffer overflow with specific graphics drivers on Linux. This could result in malicious content freezing a tab or triggering a potentially exploitable crash. *Note: this issue only occurs on Linux. Other operating systems are unaffected.*. This vulnerability affects Thunderbird < 60.7, Firefox < 67, and Firefox ESR < 60.7.
CVE-2019-11709 5 Debian, Mozilla, Opensuse and 2 more 7 Debian Linux, Firefox, Thunderbird and 4 more 2025-11-25 9.8 Critical
Mozilla developers and community members reported memory safety bugs present in Firefox 67 and Firefox ESR 60.7. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort that some of these could be exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox ESR < 60.8, Firefox < 68, and Thunderbird < 60.8.
CVE-2015-0813 3 Linux, Mozilla, Redhat 4 Linux Kernel, Firefox, Thunderbird and 1 more 2025-11-25 N/A
Use-after-free vulnerability in the AppendElements function in Mozilla Firefox before 37.0, Firefox ESR 31.x before 31.6, and Thunderbird before 31.6 on Linux, when the Fluendo MP3 plugin for GStreamer is used, allows remote attackers to execute arbitrary code or cause a denial of service (heap memory corruption) via a crafted MP3 file.
CVE-2014-1491 8 Canonical, Debian, Fedoraproject and 5 more 14 Ubuntu Linux, Debian Linux, Fedora and 11 more 2025-11-25 N/A
Mozilla Network Security Services (NSS) before 3.15.4, as used in Mozilla Firefox before 27.0, Firefox ESR 24.x before 24.3, Thunderbird before 24.3, SeaMonkey before 2.24, and other products, does not properly restrict public values in Diffie-Hellman key exchanges, which makes it easier for remote attackers to bypass cryptographic protection mechanisms in ticket handling by leveraging use of a certain value.
