| The Qualys Cloud Agent included a bundled uninstall script (qagent_uninstall.sh), specific to Mac and Linux supported versions that invoked multiple system commands without using absolute paths and without sanitizing the $PATH environment. If the uninstall script is executed with elevated privileges (e.g., via sudo) in an environment where $PATH has been manipulated, an attacker with root/sudo privileges could cause malicious executables to be run in place of the intended system binaries. This behavior can be leveraged for local privilege escalation and arbitrary command execution under elevated privileges. |
| Improper Neutralization of Input During Web Page Generation (XSS or 'Cross-site Scripting') vulnerability in KNOWHY Advanced Technology Trading Ltd. Co. EduAsist allows Reflected XSS.This issue affects EduAsist: before v2.1. |

| Memory Corruption when accessing buffers with invalid length during TA invocation. |
| Memory corruption while handling different IOCTL calls from the user-space simultaneously. |
| Memory Corruption while invoking IOCTL calls when concurrent access to shared buffer occurs. |
| Reflected Cross-site Scripting (XSS) in Alkacon's OpenCms v18.0, which allows an attacker to execute JavaScript code in the victim's browser by sending the victim a malicious URL containing the ‘q’ parameter in ‘/search/index.html’. This vulnerability can be exploited to steal sensitive user information such as session cookies, or to perform actions while impersonating the user. |
| Adobe Commerce versions 2.4.9-alpha2, 2.4.8-p2, 2.4.7-p7, 2.4.6-p12, 2.4.5-p14, 2.4.4-p15 and earlier are affected by an Improper Input Validation vulnerability. A successful attacker can abuse this to achieve session takeover, increasing the confidentiality, and integrity impact to high. Exploitation of this issue does not require user interaction. |
| When a DAG failed during parsing, Airflow’s error-reporting in the UI could include the full kwargs passed to the operators. If those kwargs contained sensitive values (such as secrets), they might be exposed in the UI tracebacks to authenticated users who had permission to view that DAG.
The issue has been fixed in Airflow 3.1.4 and 2.11.1, and users are strongly advised to upgrade to prevent potential disclosure of sensitive information. |
| DOMPurify 3.1.3 through 3.3.1 and 2.5.3 through 2.5.8, fixed in commit 729097f, contain a cross-site scripting vulnerability that allows attackers to bypass attribute sanitization by exploiting five missing rawtext elements (noscript, xmp, noembed, noframes, iframe) in the SAFE_FOR_XML regex. Attackers can include payloads like </noscript><img src=x onerror=alert(1)> in attribute values to execute JavaScript when sanitized output is placed inside these unprotected rawtext contexts. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
romfs: check sb_set_blocksize() return value
romfs_fill_super() ignores the return value of sb_set_blocksize(), which
can fail if the requested block size is incompatible with the block
device's configuration.
This can be triggered by setting a loop device's block size larger than
PAGE_SIZE using ioctl(LOOP_SET_BLOCK_SIZE, 32768), then mounting a romfs
filesystem on that device.
When sb_set_blocksize(sb, ROMBSIZE) is called with ROMBSIZE=4096 but the
device has logical_block_size=32768, bdev_validate_blocksize() fails
because the requested size is smaller than the device's logical block
size. sb_set_blocksize() returns 0 (failure), but romfs ignores this and
continues mounting.
The superblock's block size remains at the device's logical block size
(32768). Later, when sb_bread() attempts I/O with this oversized block
size, it triggers a kernel BUG in folio_set_bh():
kernel BUG at fs/buffer.c:1582!
BUG_ON(size > PAGE_SIZE);
Fix by checking the return value of sb_set_blocksize() and failing the
mount with -EINVAL if it returns 0. |
| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved:
platform/x86: classmate-laptop: Add missing NULL pointer checks
In a few places in the Classmate laptop driver, code using the accel
object may run before that object's address is stored in the driver
data of the input device using it.
For example, cmpc_accel_sensitivity_store_v4() is the "show" method
of cmpc_accel_sensitivity_attr_v4 which is added in cmpc_accel_add_v4(),
before calling dev_set_drvdata() for inputdev->dev. If the sysfs
attribute is accessed prematurely, the dev_get_drvdata(&inputdev->dev)
call in in cmpc_accel_sensitivity_store_v4() returns NULL which
leads to a NULL pointer dereference going forward.
Moreover, sysfs attributes using the input device are added before
initializing that device by cmpc_add_acpi_notify_device() and if one
of them is accessed before running that function, a NULL pointer
dereference will occur.
For example, cmpc_accel_sensitivity_attr_v4 is added before calling
cmpc_add_acpi_notify_device() and if it is read prematurely, the
dev_get_drvdata(&acpi->dev) call in cmpc_accel_sensitivity_show_v4()
returns NULL which leads to a NULL pointer dereference going forward.
Fix this by adding NULL pointer checks in all of the relevant places. |
