CVSS v3.1 |
ZoneMinder is a free, open source Closed-circuit television software application. In affected versions authenticated users can bypass CSRF keys by modifying the request supplied to the Zoneminder web application. These modifications include replacing HTTP POST with an HTTP GET and removing the CSRF key from the request. An attacker can take advantage of this by using an HTTP GET request to perform actions with no CSRF protection. This could allow an attacker to cause an authenticated user to perform unexpected actions on the web application. Users are advised to upgrade as soon as possible. There are no known workarounds for this issue.
Denial of service in Modem module due to improper authorization while error handling in Snapdragon Auto, Snapdragon Compute, Snapdragon Consumer IOT, Snapdragon Industrial IOT, Snapdragon Mobile, Snapdragon Wearables
Information disclosure in kernel due to improper handling of ICMP requests in Snapdragon Wired Infrastructure and Networking
An issue was discovered in the fp_newsletter (aka Newsletter subscriber management) extension before 1.1.1, 1.2.0, 2.x before 2.1.2, 2.2.1 through 2.4.0, and 3.x before 3.2.6 for TYPO3. There is a CAPTCHA bypass that can lead to subscribing many people.
TYPO3 is an open source PHP based web content management system. In versions prior to 8.7.49, 9.5.38, 10.4.33, 11.5.20, and 12.1.1 TYPO3 is vulnerable to Improper Authentication. Restricting frontend login to specific users, organized in different storage folders (partitions), can be bypassed. A potential attacker might use this ambiguity in usernames to get access to a different account - however, credentials must be known to the adversary. This issue is patched in versions 8.7.49 ELTS, 9.5.38 ELTS, 10.4.33, 11.5.20, 12.1.1.
ColdFusion versions 2023.12, 2021.18, 2025.0 and earlier are affected by an Improper Authentication vulnerability that could result in arbitrary code execution in the context of the current user. A low privileged attacker with local access could leverage this vulnerability to bypass security protections and execute code. Exploitation of this issue requires user interaction in that a victim must be coerced into performing actions within the application and scope is changed.
Dm-verity is used for extending root-of-trust to root filesystems. LoadPin builds on this property to restrict module/firmware loads to just the trusted root filesystem. Device-mapper table reloads currently allow users with root privileges to switch out the target with an equivalent dm-linear target and bypass verification till reboot. This allows root to bypass LoadPin and can be used to load untrusted and unverified kernel modules and firmware, which implies arbitrary kernel execution and persistence for peripherals that do not verify firmware updates. We recommend upgrading past commit 4caae58406f8ceb741603eee460d79bacca9b1b5
In Apache HTTP Server versions 2.4.0 to 2.4.23, mod_session_crypto was encrypting its data/cookie using the configured ciphers with possibly either CBC or ECB modes of operation (AES256-CBC by default), hence no selectable or builtin authenticated encryption. This made it vulnerable to padding oracle attacks, particularly with CBC.
Apache Solr's Kerberos plugin can be configured to use delegation tokens, which allows an application to reuse the authentication of an end-user or another application. There are two issues with this functionality (when using SecurityAwareZkACLProvider type of ACL provider e.g. SaslZkACLProvider). Firstly, access to the security configuration can be leaked to users other than the solr super user. Secondly, malicious users can exploit this leaked configuration for privilege escalation to further expose/modify private data and/or disrupt operations in the Solr cluster. The vulnerability is fixed from Apache Solr 6.6.1 onwards.
A design flaw in authentication in Synology Photo Station 6.0-2528 through 6.7.1-3419 allows local users to obtain credentials via cmdline. Synology Photo Station employs the synophoto_dsm_user program to authenticate username and password by "synophoto_dsm_user --auth USERNAME PASSWORD", and local users are able to obtain credentials by sniffing "/proc/*/cmdline".
D-Link DIR-615 Wireless N 300 Router allows authentication bypass via a modified POST request to login.cgi. This issue occurs because it fails to validate the password field. Successful exploitation of this issue allows an attacker to take control of the affected device.
login.cgi on D-Link DIR-600M devices with firmware 3.04 allows remote attackers to bypass authentication by entering more than 20 blank spaces in the password field during an admin login attempt.
In EMC RSA Authentication Manager 8.2 SP1 Patch 1 and earlier, a malicious user logged into the Self-Service Console of RSA Authentication Manager as a target user can use a brute force attack to attempt to identify that user's PIN. The malicious user could potentially reset the compromised PIN to affect victim's ability to obtain access to protected resources.
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in Phoenix Contact GmbH mGuard firmware versions 8.3.0 to 8.4.2. An attacker may be able to gain unauthorized access to the user firewall when RADIUS servers are unreachable.
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in OSIsoft PI Server 2017 PI Data Archive versions prior to 2017. PI Network Manager using older protocol versions contains a flaw that could allow a malicious user to authenticate with a server and then cause PI Network Manager to behave in an undefined manner.
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in OSIsoft PI Server 2017 PI Data Archive versions prior to 2017. PI Data Archive has protocol flaws with the potential to expose change records in the clear and allow a malicious party to spoof a server within a collective.
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in Hikvision DS-2CD2xx2F-I Series V5.2.0 build 140721 to V5.4.0 build 160530, DS-2CD2xx0F-I Series V5.2.0 build 140721 to V5.4.0 Build 160401, DS-2CD2xx2FWD Series V5.3.1 build 150410 to V5.4.4 Build 161125, DS-2CD4x2xFWD Series V5.2.0 build 140721 to V5.4.0 Build 160414, DS-2CD4xx5 Series V5.2.0 build 140721 to V5.4.0 Build 160421, DS-2DFx Series V5.2.0 build 140805 to V5.4.5 Build 160928, and DS-2CD63xx Series V5.0.9 build 140305 to V5.3.5 Build 160106 devices. The improper authentication vulnerability occurs when an application does not adequately or correctly authenticate users. This may allow a malicious user to escalate his or her privileges on the system and gain access to sensitive information.
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in ABB VSN300 WiFi Logger Card versions 1.8.15 and prior, and VSN300 WiFi Logger Card for React versions 2.1.3 and prior. By accessing a specific uniform resource locator (URL) on the web server, a malicious user is able to access internal information about status and connected devices without authenticating.
An Improper Authentication issue was discovered in Newport XPS-Cx and XPS-Qx. An attacker may bypass authentication by accessing a specific uniform resource locator (URL).
A Use of Client-Side Authentication issue was discovered in Advantech B+B SmartWorx MESR901 firmware versions 1.5.2 and prior. The web interface uses JavaScript to check client authentication and redirect unauthorized users. Attackers may intercept requests and bypass authentication to access restricted web pages.
