CVSS v3.1 |
Dell PowerProtect Data Manager Reporting, version(s) 19.17, contain(s) an Incorrect Use of Privileged APIs vulnerability. A low privileged attacker with local access could potentially exploit this vulnerability, leading to Elevation of privileges.
An authentication issue was addressed with improved state management. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.4, tvOS 18.4, macOS Ventura 13.7.5, iPadOS 17.7.6, macOS Sonoma 14.7.5, iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4, visionOS 2.4. An attacker on the local network may be able to bypass authentication policy.
A use-after-free issue was addressed with improved memory management. This issue is fixed in macOS Sequoia 15.4, tvOS 18.4, macOS Ventura 13.7.5, iPadOS 17.7.6, macOS Sonoma 14.7.5, iOS 18.4 and iPadOS 18.4, visionOS 2.4. An attacker on the local network may be able to corrupt process memory.
When installing Tenable Network Monitor to a non-default location on a Windows host, Tenable Network Monitor versions prior to 6.5.1 did not enforce secure permissions for sub-directories. This could allow for local privilege escalation if users had not secured the directories in the non-default installation location.
Thunderbird's update mechanism allowed a medium-integrity user process to interfere with the SYSTEM-level updater by manipulating the file-locking behavior. By injecting code into the user-privileged process, an attacker could bypass intended access controls, allowing SYSTEM-level file operations on paths controlled by a non-privileged user and enabling privilege escalation. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 138, Firefox ESR < 128.10, Firefox ESR < 115.23, Thunderbird < 138, and Thunderbird < 128.10.
Access of resource using incompatible type ('type confusion') in Microsoft Edge (Chromium-based) allows an unauthorized attacker to execute code over a network.
In Tenable Network Monitor versions prior to 6.5.1 on a Windows host, it was found that a non-administrative user could stage files in a local directory to run arbitrary code with SYSTEM privileges, potentially leading to local privilege escalation.
| Incorrect Permission Assignment for Critical Resource vulnerability in Apache APISIX(java-plugin-runner).
Local listening file permissions in APISIX plugin runner allow a local attacker to elevate privileges.
This issue affects Apache APISIX(java-plugin-runner): from 0.2.0 through 0.5.0.
Users are recommended to upgrade to version 0.6.0 or higher, which fixes the issue. |
A flaw was found in libssh when using the ChaCha20 cipher with the OpenSSL library. If an attacker manages to exhaust the heap space, this error is not detected and may lead to libssh using a partially initialized cipher context. This occurs because the OpenSSL error code returned aliases with the SSH_OK code, resulting in libssh not properly detecting the error returned by the OpenSSL library. This issue can lead to undefined behavior, including compromised data confidentiality and integrity or crashes.
An attacker with control over a content process could potentially leverage the privileged UITour actor to leak sensitive information or escalate privileges. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 138 and Thunderbird < 138.
Memory safety bugs present in Firefox 138, Thunderbird 138, Firefox ESR 128.10, and Thunderbird 128.10. Some of these bugs showed evidence of memory corruption and we presume that with enough effort some of these could have been exploited to run arbitrary code. This vulnerability affects Firefox < 139, Firefox ESR < 128.11, Thunderbird < 139, and Thunderbird < 128.11.
IBM Integration Bus for z/OS 10.1.0.0 through 10.1.0.5 is vulnerable to code injection by a privileged user with access to the IIB install directory.
There is a possible bypass of carrier restrictions due to an unusual root cause. This could lead to local escalation of privilege with no additional execution privileges needed. User interaction is not needed for exploitation.
Use after free in Compositing in Google Chrome prior to 137.0.7151.55 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
A vulnerability in the “Manages app data” functionality of the web application of ctrlX OS allows a remote authenticated (lowprivileged) attacker to execute arbitrary client-side code in the context of another user's browser via multiple crafted HTTP requests.
Out of bounds write in V8 in Google Chrome prior to 137.0.7151.55 allowed a remote attacker to potentially exploit heap corruption via a crafted HTML page. (Chromium security severity: High)
SAP Netweaver System Configuration does not perform necessary authorization checks for an authenticated user, resulting in escalation of privileges. This could completely compromise the integrity and availability with no impact on confidentiality of the system.
A vulnerability in the “Proxy” functionality of the web application of ctrlX OS allows a remote authenticated (lowprivileged) attacker to manipulate the “/etc/environment” file via a crafted HTTP request.
An unauthenticated attacker may exploit a scenario where a Hashed Message Authentication Code (HMAC) credential, extracted from a system missing specific security patches, is reused in a replay attack against a different system. Even if the target system is fully patched, successful exploitation could result in complete system compromise, affecting confidentiality, integrity, and availability.
A vulnerability in the “Remote Logging” functionality of the web application of ctrlX OS allows a remote authenticated (low-privileged) attacker to execute arbitrary OS commands in the context of user “root” via a crafted HTTP request.
