CVSS v3.1 |
| eLabFTW is an open source electronic lab notebook for research labs. In the context of eLabFTW, an administrator is a user account with certain privileges to manage users and content in their assigned team/teams. A user may be an administrator in one team and a regular user in another. The vulnerability allows a regular user to become administrator of a team where they are a member, under a reasonable configuration. Additionally, in eLabFTW versions subsequent to v5.0.0, the vulnerability may allow an initially unauthenticated user to gain administrative privileges over an arbitrary team. The vulnerability does not affect system administrator status. Users should upgrade to version 5.1.0. System administrators are advised to turn off local user registration, saml_team_create and not allow administrators to import users into teams, unless strictly required. |
| IBM WebSphere Application Server Liberty 17.0.0.3 through 25.0.0.8 could allow a remote attacker to bypass security restrictions caused by a failure to honor JMS messaging configuration |
| A privileged Vault operator with write permissions to the root namespace’s identity endpoint could escalate their own or another user’s token privileges to Vault’s root policy. Fixed in Vault Community Edition 1.20.0 and Vault Enterprise 1.20.0, 1.19.6, 1.18.11 and 1.16.22. |
| VMware NSX-T contains a privilege escalation vulnerability due to an issue with RBAC (Role based access control) role assignment. Successful exploitation of this issue may allow attackers with local guest user account to assign privileges higher than their own permission level. |
| OpenBao exists to provide a software solution to manage, store, and distribute sensitive data including secrets, certificates, and keys. In versions 2.3.1 and below, accounts with access to highly-privileged identity entity systems in root namespaces were able to increase their scope directly to the root policy. While the identity system allowed adding arbitrary policies, which in turn could contain capability grants on arbitrary paths, the root policy was restricted to manual generation using unseal or recovery key shares. The global root policy was not accessible from child namespaces. This issue is fixed in version 2.3.2. To workaround this vulnerability, use of denied_parameters in any policy which has access to the affected identity endpoints (on identity entities) may be sufficient to prohibit this type of attack. |
| IBM Cloud Pak for Business Automation 18.0.0, 18.0.1, 18.0.2, 19.0.1, 19.0.2, 19.0.3, 20.0.1, 20.0.2, 20.0.3, 21.0.1, 21.0.2, 21.0.3, 22.0.1, and 22.0.2
allows restricting access to organizational data to valid contexts. The fact that tasks of type comment can be reassigned via API implicitly grants access to user queries in an unexpected context. |
| Vulnerability that allows third-party call apps to send broadcasts without verification in the audio framework module
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect availability. |
| Permission bypass vulnerability in the calendar storage module
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect the schedule reminder function of head units. |
| Permission bypass vulnerability in the calendar storage module
Impact: Successful exploitation of this vulnerability may affect the schedule syncing function of watches. |
| In TOTOLink A7100RU V7.4, A950RG V5.9, and T10 V5.9, the chroot_local_user option is enabled in the vsftpd.conf. This could lead to unauthorized access to system files, privilege escalation, or use of the compromised server as a pivot point for internal network attacks. |
| A vulnerability in the Object Groups for Access Control Lists (ACLs) feature of Cisco Firepower Management Center (FMC) Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass configured access controls on managed devices that are running Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Software. This vulnerability is due to the incorrect deployment of the Object Groups for ACLs feature from Cisco FMC Software to managed FTD devices in high-availability setups. After an affected device is rebooted following Object Groups for ACLs deployment, an attacker can exploit this vulnerability by sending traffic through the affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass configured access controls and successfully send traffic to devices that are expected to be protected by the affected device. |
| A Broken Access Control vulnerability in MagnusBilling v7.8.5.3 allows newly registered users to gain escalated privileges by sending a crafted request to /mbilling/index.php/user/save to set their account status fom "pending" to "active" without requiring administrator approval. |
| A vulnerability in the web-based management interface of Cisco Secure Firewall Management Center (FMC) Software, formerly Firepower Management Center Software, could allow an authenticated, remote attacker with Administrator-level privileges to execute arbitrary commands on the underlying operating system.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient input validation of certain HTTP request parameters that are sent to the web-based management interface. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by authenticating to the Cisco FMC web-based management interface and sending a crafted HTTP request to an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to execute commands as the root user on the affected device. To exploit this vulnerability, an attacker would need Administrator-level credentials. |
| An issue was discovered in CommScope Ruckus Unleashed prior to 200.15.6.212.14 and 200.17.7.0.139, and in Ruckus ZoneDirector prior to 10.5.1.0.279, where an authenticated attacker can disable the passphrase requirement for a hidden CLI command `!v54!` via a management API call and then invoke it to escape the restricted shell and obtain a root shell on the controller. |
| A vulnerability in the SSH client feature of Cisco IOS XR Software for Cisco 8000 Series Routers and Cisco Network Convergence System (NCS) 540 Series and 5700 Series Routers could allow an authenticated, local attacker to elevate privileges on an affected device.
This vulnerability is due to insufficient validation of arguments that are included with the SSH client CLI command. An attacker with low-privileged access to an affected device could exploit this vulnerability by issuing a crafted SSH client command to the CLI. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to elevate privileges to root on the affected device. |
| Vulnerability in the Oracle GraalVM for JDK product of Oracle Java SE (component: Native Image). The supported version that is affected is Oracle GraalVM for JDK: 24.0.1. Difficult to exploit vulnerability allows unauthenticated attacker with network access via HTTP to compromise Oracle GraalVM for JDK. Successful attacks of this vulnerability can result in unauthorized ability to cause a partial denial of service (partial DOS) of Oracle GraalVM for JDK. CVSS 3.1 Base Score 3.7 (Availability impacts). CVSS Vector: (CVSS:3.1/AV:N/AC:H/PR:N/UI:N/S:U/C:N/I:N/A:L). |
| Prior to version 25.4.270.0, a local authenticated attacker can manipulate user profile files to add illegitimate challenge response codes into the local user registry under certain conditions. This allows users with the ability to edit their user profile files to elevate their privileges to administrator. |
| A vulnerability in the access control list (ACL) processing in the egress direction of Cisco IOS XR Software could allow an unauthenticated, remote attacker to bypass a configured ACL.
This vulnerability exists because certain packets are handled incorrectly when they are received on an ingress interface on one line card and destined out of an egress interface on another line card where the egress ACL is configured. An attacker could exploit this vulnerability by attempting to send traffic through an affected device. A successful exploit could allow the attacker to bypass an egress ACL on the affected device.
For more information about this vulnerability, see the section of this advisory.
Cisco has released software updates that address this vulnerability. There are no workarounds that address this vulnerability. |
| A security issue was discovered in Kubernetes where a user that can
create pods on Windows nodes running kubernetes-csi-proxy may be able to
escalate to admin privileges on those nodes. Kubernetes clusters are
only affected if they include Windows nodes running
kubernetes-csi-proxy. |
| Improper Privilege Management vulnerability in Cloudflare WARP on Windows allows File Manipulation.
User with a low system privileges can create a set of symlinks inside the C:\ProgramData\Cloudflare\warp-diag-partials folder. After triggering the 'Reset all settings" option the WARP service will delete the files that the symlink was pointing to. Given the WARP service operates with System privileges this might lead to deleting files owned by the System user.
This issue affects WARP: before 2024.12.492.0. |
