Prior to version 1.19.10, when using @hono/node-server's static file serving together with route-based middleware protections (e.g. protecting /admin/*), inconsistent URL decoding can allow protected static resources to be accessed without authorization. In particular, paths containing encoded slashes (%2F) may be evaluated differently by routing/middleware matching versus static file path resolution, enabling a bypass where middleware does not run but the static file is still served. | Locutus brings stdlibs of other programming languages to JavaScript for educational purposes. Prior to version 3.0.0, a remote code execution (RCE) flaw was discovered in the locutus project, specifically within the call_user_func_array function implementation. The vulnerability allows an attacker to inject arbitrary JavaScript code into the application's runtime environment. This issue stems from an insecure implementation of the call_user_func_array function (and its wrapper call_user_func), which fails to properly validate all components of a callback array before passing them to eval(). | Cryptomator encrypts data being stored on cloud infrastructure. Prior to version 1.19.0, in non-debug mode Cryptomator might leak cleartext paths into the log file. This can reveal meta information about the files stored inside a vault at a time, where the actual vault is closed. Not every cleartext path is logged. Only if a filesystem request fails for some reason (e.g. damaged encrypted file, not existing file), a log message is created. This issue has been patched in version 1.19.0. | ||||

| fast-xml-parser is an open source, pure javascript xml parser. fast-xml-parser allows special characters in entity names, which are not escaped or sanitized. Since the entity name is used for creating a regex for searching and replacing entities in the XML body, an attacker can abuse it for denial of service (DoS) attacks. By crafting an entity name that results in an intentionally bad performing regex and utilizing it in the entity replacement step of the parser, this can cause the parser to stall for an indefinite amount of time. This problem has been resolved in v4.2.4. Users are advised to upgrade. Users unable to upgrade should avoid using DOCTYPE parsing by setting the `processEntities: false` option. | ||||
