| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: tracing: Drain deferred trigger frees if kthread creation fails Boot-time trigger registration can fail before the trigger-data cleanup kthread exists. Deferring those frees until late init is fine, but the post-boot fallback must still drain the deferred list if kthread creation never succeeds. Otherwise, boot-deferred nodes can accumulate on trigger_data_free_list, later frees fall back to synchronously freeing only the current object, and the older queued entries are leaked forever. To trigger this, add the following to the kernel command line: trace_event=sched_switch trace_trigger=sched_switch.traceon,sched_switch.traceon The second traceon trigger will fail and be freed. This triggers a NULL pointer dereference and crashes the kernel. Keep the deferred boot-time behavior, but when kthread creation fails, drain the whole queued list synchronously. Do the same in the late-init drain path so queued entries are not stranded there either. | ||||

| EspoCRM is an open source customer relationship management application. Prior to version 9.3.4, EspoCRM's built-in formula scripting engine allowing updating attachment's sourceId thus allowing an authenticated admin to overwrite the `sourceId` field on `Attachment` entities. Because `sourceId` is concatenated directly into a file path with no sanitization in `EspoUploadDir::getFilePath()`, an attacker can redirect any file read or write operation to an arbitrary path within the web server's `open_basedir` scope. | RustFS is a distributed object storage system built in Rust. Prior to 1.0.0-alpha.94, all four notification target admin API endpoints in `rustfs/src/admin/handlers/event.rs` use a `check_permissions` helper that validates authentication only (access key + session token), without performing any admin-action authorization via `validate_admin_request`. Every other admin handler in the codebase correctly calls `validate_admin_request` with a specific `AdminAction`. This is the only admin handler file that skips authorization. A non-admin user can overwrite a shared admin-defined notification target by name, causing subsequent bucket events to be delivered to an attacker-controlled endpoint. This enables cross-user event interception and audit evasion. 1.0.0-alpha.94 contains a patch. | ||||

Prior to version 1.22.1, a user who has `write:admin` in one Keycloak realm can call the Manager API to update Keycloak realm roles for users in another realm, including `master`. The handler uses the `{realm}` path segment when talking to the identity provider but does not check that the caller may administer that realm.
