| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: espintcp: Fix race condition in espintcp_close() This issue was discovered during a code audit. After cancel_work_sync() is called from espintcp_close(), espintcp_tx_work() can still be scheduled from paths such as the Delayed ACK handler or ksoftirqd. As a result, the espintcp_tx_work() worker may dereference a freed espintcp ctx or sk. The following is a simple race scenario: cpu0 cpu1 espintcp_close() cancel_work_sync(&ctx->work); espintcp_write_space() schedule_work(&ctx->work); To prevent this race condition, cancel_work_sync() is replaced with disable_work_sync(). | ||||

| A flaw was identified in the RAR5 archive decompression logic of the libarchive library, specifically within the archive_read_data() processing path. When a specially crafted RAR5 archive is processed, the decompression routine may enter a state where internal logic prevents forward progress. This condition results in an infinite loop that continuously consumes CPU resources. Because the archive passes checksum validation and appears structurally valid, affected applications cannot detect the issue before processing. This can allow attackers to cause persistent denial-of-service conditions in services that automatically process archives. | ||||

| In the Linux kernel, the following vulnerability has been resolved: regmap: maple: free entry on mas_store_gfp() failure regcache_maple_write() allocates a new block ('entry') to merge adjacent ranges and then stores it with mas_store_gfp(). When mas_store_gfp() fails, the new 'entry' remains allocated and is never freed, leaking memory. Free 'entry' on the failure path; on success continue freeing the replaced neighbor blocks ('lower', 'upper'). | ||||

| qui is a web interface for managing qBittorrent instances. Versions 1.14.1 and below use a permissive CORS policy that reflects arbitrary origins while also returning Access-Control-Allow-Credentials: true, effectively allowing any external webpage to make authenticated requests on behalf of a logged-in user. An attacker can exploit this by tricking a victim into loading a malicious webpage, which silently interacts with the application using the victim's session and potentially exfiltrating sensitive data such as API keys and account credentials, or even achieving full system compromise through the built-in External Programs manager. Exploitation requires that the victim access the application via a non-localhost hostname and load an attacker-controlled webpage, making highly targeted social-engineering attacks the most likely real-world scenario.
